It has been exactly a week since I left home for Glastonbury Festival. I am now recovering back at home with pipe-and-slippers, having experienced a very special week. Glastonbury Festival will not return until 2007, a shocking but necessary evil. The next 727 days will rarely be spent without a token thought to those magical few days in the summer of 2005 when we partied, almost literally non-stop, from Wednesday evening to Monday lunchtime and met strange and wonderful people in a field in Somerset. I feel changed from the experience, and I can't even begin to describe why. On Monday night I nearly cried - from happiness at having been through something so amazing. I must now return to the 'real world', the same only different...
